Television did not work, bathroom was a total enclosed shower so everything got wet when showering, mattress was worn and could feel springs in your back...paid for VIP cabin...NOT worth the money... 7.6
...especially if you have children. We had traveled other ferry lines that had an on-board playground and things for the kids to do, but there was nothing on Blue Line to help expel some of the kids' pent-up energy. The rooms were clean and I loved their duvets and pillows - very cozy. The rooms stayed pretty quiet, despite having many people in the cabins around us. We didn't eat in the restaurants but did order cafe from the bar. It was too smokey to stay there, but enjoyed the cappuccinos and cafes while we were there. 4.4
The food was terrible. It was expensive and inadequate. We would have been better off just bringing a sandwich and making our own dinner on deck. The staff was friendly. The rooms were adequate for the price paid however - the shower was rusted and the room had an odor. This boat got us where we wanted to go and on time which was a plus. 7.8
We went in August, me my girlfriend (now wife!) and a couple of friends. The ferry was over-run with Italian teenagers! Talking non stop! Running, shouting etc. They all slept in the ferry with sleeping bags etc. so I was very glad we had a cabin to escape from the chaos outside. Overall the trip was pleasant enough. This is a low cost ferry company so don't expect luxury but I can't complain about any of the facilities. More than does the job and if you book a cabin you arrive feeling pretty good! A+ |
