Esbjerg Ferry Port Overview
Esbjerg is a town on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark and located approximately 175 miles from the country's capital, Copenhagen.
Close to Esbjerg you will find beautiful beaches, amusements parks and medieval towns. In Esbjerg there are plenty of restaurants, café's, bars and discotheques as well as a musical centre Musikhuset". A wide range of city museums gives you the opportunity to explore the history of the city and the region.
On the outskirts of the city you will find the Fisheries and Maritime Museum, which illustrates the history of fishing and shipping. The museum also contains a large saltwater aquarium.
Esbjerg Ferry Port is considered Denmark's gateway to the west. DFDS Seaways Ferry services connect Esbjerg with Harwich Ferry Port.

Esbjerg Terminal facilities include two cafes, a shop selling local products as well as newspapers and snacks, toilets and a lounge area. The disabled are catered for with wheelchair access to all areas of the ferry terminal.

By Road
From Copenhagen take the E20 motorway.
From Northern Denmark use the E45 motorway, which merges into the E20 at Kolding (about 50 miles from Esbjerg). On approach, stay on the E20 through the town from the motorway. As you approach the terminal the road name changes to Toldbodvej; take an immediate left into Dokvej, to the terminal.
By Bus
Local bus no. 5 departs from Dokvej (just outside the terminal) to the central railway station at `8, `28 and `48 min. past the hour.
From the railway station the bus departs at 13, 33 and 53 minutes past the hour.
