Hanstholm is a small town and a former island in the northern part of Denmark. Hanstholm is a destination filled with lots of possibilities. Whenever you come and whatever the weather, there are always lots of interesting things to do. Places of interest are the remains of a large World War II fortress, the lighthouse built in 1842 and Hansted reservat.
Hanstholm Ferry Port was inaugurated in 1967 and is the youngest port in Denmark. It is fully equipped for fishing boats, cargo ships, RO/RO passenger ferries. Hanstholm is considered the gateway to The North Atlantics for both passengers and freight.
