Porto Torres Ferry Port Overview
Porto Torres is a town in the north west of Sardinia, in the province of Sassari. Porto Torres is situated in the Gulf of Asinara, opposite the island of Homonyme, which has now become a national park. In the Middle Ages, Porto Torres was the most important town of the region.
The San Gavino cathedral dates from the 11th and 12th century. Porto Torres is also one of Italy's most important port for transporting passengers from Europe and Northern Italy. The ferries for Porto Torres sail from Genoa, Marseille, Propriano and Ajaccio.

From Cagliari: Join the S131 towards Sassari and then Porto Torres. At Porto Torres follow the signs for city centre and then the signs for the port.
From Olbia: Join the S199 then the S597 towards Sassari/Alghero. Continue via the S131 towards Sassari and then Porto Torres. Follow signs to the city centre and then signs to the port.
From Alghero: Join the SP42 towards the Airport of D'Alghero Fertilia and then Porto Torres. At Porto Torres, follow the signs towards the city center and follow signs to the port.
