Tinos Ferry Port Overview
Tinos Ferry Port lies on the biggest of the Greek islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Tinos is part of the Cyclades islands. Tinos has largely a Mediterranean climate with warm and dry summers and wet winters.
Tinos is famous for the church of Panagia Evangelistria reputed for the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary that it holds. Every year in August, thousands of pilgrims pay a visit to Tinos especially to visit the church.
About 80 or so windmills, a 1000 artistic dove cottages and beautiful little villages and the tradition of marble carvings because of its rich resources of marble and granite makes Tinos a much more interesting place to visit apart from the scores of beautiful beaches on the island.
The village of Volax on the island of Tinos is located amidst some of the most stunning landscapes. It is surrounded by Pyrgos Mountains which are the most beautiful green marble mountains in Greece. All the villages in Tinos are connected with neighbouring villages by stone walkways and only separated by stone walls built around them.

Tinos has two separate ports for the foot passenger traffic and the passengers with vehicles. The Ferry ports are only about 800 metres from the town centre where you can find various amenities.
Ferries from Tinos go to the nearby islands of Mykonos, Piraeus, Rafina, Andros and Syros.
