Douglas Ferries - Schedules
- The operator Isle of Man Steam Packet offers up to three times a week a crossing to Belfast, crossing time approximately 2 hrs 45 min depending to tidal and weather conditions. The same ferry company also offers 2 weekly crossings to the port of Dublin with an average crossing time of 2 hrs 50 min.
- Besides regular crossings to Ireland the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company sails up to 14 times per week to the English Ferry port of Heysham, with a crossing time of between 3h 15m and 3h 45m. Services on the Douglas - Heysham route are operated by the Ben-my-Chree.
- The ferry company also operates the Douglas - Liverpool route up to 14 times per week. The fast craft service has a crossing time of between 2h 30m and 2h 40m.
- From November 9th 2007 all Isle of Man Steam Packets winter services are operated by the Ben-my-Chree. On Saturday and Sunday mornings the Ben-my- Chree departs Douglas at 0800 arriving at Twelve Quays, Liverpool Birkenhead at 1215. She departs Birkenhead at 1400 arriving at 1815 in Douglas. The Isle of Man Steam Packet Fast Craft service to Liverpool Pier Head, will recommence 1st March 2008.
- For Douglas Ferries latest check in for car passengers is 45 minutes prior to departure at the vehicle booths at the entrance to the port. Latest check in for foot passengers is 25 minutes before departure.
Foot passengers need to check in in the Sea Terminal Departure Lounge where they should present their tickets at the check in desks. Longer check in is required over the TT and Manx Grand Prix period.
