Sifnos Ferry Port Overview
Sifnos Ferry Port is situated in the town of Kamares, on the west coast of the island.
Sifnos is an island in the Greek Cyclades that has around 2500 inhabitants. Sifnos is known for its natural beauty and for its pottery. Sifnos is often referred to as "Poet's Island" due to the number of poets and writers that have come from the island, such as Titos Patrikios and Theodosios Sperantzas.
There is plenty to see and do on Sifnos; the island boasts 277 beautiful churches and chapels and 55 ancient towers across the island dating from the 6th to the 3rd century B.C.
There are also museums in Sifnos; the most notable are the Archaeological Museum in Kastro and the Folklore and Art museum in Apollonia.
