Symi Ferry Port Overview
Symi Ferry Port is situated in the island's main town, which shares the island's name.
Symi is part of the Greek Dodecanese archipelago, and is located about 40km northwest of Rhodes and approximately 425km from Piraeus, the port of Athens.
Symi is home to the famous monastery of the Archangel Michael, an 18th century monastery which sits on top of the Panormitis peak.
Symi also hosts the Symi festival, from July until September each year. The Symi festival attracts leading Greek performers of music, dance and theatre and is popular with locals and tourists alike.
