Viking Line operates similar crossings between Sweden and Finland, on board one of Viking Lines spacious and luxurious ferries. Travel between two capitals of the Baltic Sea, Helsinki and Tallinn.
Since 1989 Tallink has run cruise and cargo traffic between Helsinki and Tallinn. Tallink established its enterprise in Sweden in 1997, when the operator started a cargo line between Kapellskär and Paldiski.
In December 2000, Tallink expanded further as passenger sailings between Sweden and Estonia were introduced. Today, the shipping company is regarded as one of the largest ferry companies in the Baltic Sea.
Tallink operates 15 ferries, with lines to Estonia, Stockholm-Tallinn, Kapellskär-Paldiski and one line to Latvia, Stockholm-Riga. |
