Arbatax Ferry Port Overview
Arbatax Ferry Port is situated in the small harbour town of Arbatax which lies at the bottom of Cape Bellavista, 5 Km to the west of Tortoli by the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Ogliatra region of Sardinia.
Arbatax is a territory rich in green Mediterranean scrub and the characteristic red rocks and masses of porphyritic granite.
Arbatax is a stunning place to be in the spring, when you can see an explosion of colours with the contrast of the rocks of the headland and the reef, the white sandy beaches and the limpid waters. A natural frame to this panorama are the surrounding mountains, the highest on the island.
Trenino Verde is a famous tourist train which takes you up the mountainous hinterland. From the light house which sits above the village you can see a breathtaking view of the village.
All these beautiful surroundings and the choice of activities make Arbatax a particularly pleasant seaside resort for holiday makers.
Arbatax ferry port connects to the mainland Italy via the ferry ports of Civitavecchia, Genoa, Fiumicino, Olbia and Cagliari.
