Corfu Ferry Port Overview
Corfu, or Kérkyra in Greek, is a Greek island and part of the Ionian Islands group. It is situated only a short distance from the coast of Albania. Corfu has a varied landscape with rolling hills and fragrant orchards and some of Greece's most beautiful beaches.
Some of these beaches have been awarded with the European Blue Flag. The coastline is about 135 miles long including capes. The highest point is Pantokrator Mountain (2,972 ft).
Corfu town, the capital of the island, is a labyrinth of medieval cobblestone streets dominated by the 16th century fortress. Corfu's Old Town and Old Port areas are well endowed with tavernas.
Corfu Ferry Port is located on the eastern side of the island. Numerous ferry sailings depart daily from Corfu Ferry Port to Bari (Italy), Brindisi (Italy), Venice (Italy) and Patras (Greece).
