Cowes is split in two by the river Medina and sometimes the two different parts are referred to as East Cowes and West Cowes. Both parts have a ferry port with regular services to the mainland.

Getting to East Cowes

East Cowes Ferry Port can be reached via the A3054 then the A3021 if coming from Newport, the journey takes on average 15min. Alternatively take the A3020 to West Cowes and then on to East Cowes via the floating bridge (No freight vehicles allowed). Please allow an extra 10-20 min if using the floating bridge.
