...and my 2 days stay on the boat. The crewmembers were very kond and friendly. The cabbins very cosy ánd CLEAN! The food on board of the ship wasn't that good, breakfast okay... but the warm food wasnt that warm... But it was worth to do this trip! 6.2 3.4
They didn't have cash machine and didn't take credit card onbard and I didn't have any cash with me. Lucky the staff offered to me a free lunch. 9.2
Easier to book with AFerry than with transmediteranean. Crossing is 9 hours so as this is a night crossing we book a cabin. Cabins are excellent, clean, tidy and warm. This is the only way to get to menorca if you are travelling with animals and don't want to distress them too much by travelling by air as there are no direct flights to menorca which take animals. The return journey, Mahon to Barcelona, is during the day. The only fault with this crossing is that the restaurant is open for lunch and nothing else. Paninis are available at the bar, but a wider choice would be better. The boats are very clean and tidy. Some of the boats have kennels on deck for dogs which means that you can keep your pet with you, but others have kennels on the car deck and you can visit them 3 times during the crossing to exercise them. We have now done this trip 5 times and have enjoyed each one. 7.8
The booking process was fine and easy and efficient. The quality of the ship is very average. There is nowhere to sit outside. The catering is terrible, and only open for a short part of the journey. Is more suited to truck drivers than car passengers. |
