Liverpool to Dublin with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

The food and drinks were good value for money, the sailing was pleasant, the staff were effieient and helpful. The only downside was the night cabin on way back to liverpool, we are too old to climb into bunk beds and there was a baby crying in the cabin on one side and a guy snoring on the other side, so we did not sleep well.

Cairnryan to Larne with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

On arrival at Cairnryan we were informed that the usual ferry was off for a scheduled refit & the replacement was a cargo ferry & did not have a lift which is no use to either myself or my partner as we both have mobility problems. The check-in staff were very helpful & luckily we had arrived early as she was able to arrange for us to board the Stena line service to Belfast which left 30 minutes before the one we had booked, however I did ask if there would be a problem with the return journey which was for the 4.30 P&O Larne to Cairnryan & was told that there would not be. Unfortunately this turned out to be wrong as when we turned up to check in we were informed by a baffled staff member that there was no 4.30 service available due to the aforementioned refit & we were booked on the 5. 30 fast ferry to Troon which turned out to be a very bumpy & uncomfortable trip & this episode resulted in adding at least 2 hours on to an already long and tiring day. We were given meal vouchers by a very apologetic staff member which were for 6.50 each but when we went for a meal they did not even cover the cheapest meals on the menu. We have never had any problems with you in the past and I do not hold your company responsible for this problem but I do think P&O should have let you know when the booking was made that the usual ferry would not be available and the replacement would not be sutable for passengers like myself. I should also mention that the meal we did have on the return ferry was absolutely awful and neither of us could eat more than a few mouthfuls before leaving it.

Troon to Larne with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

The staff at the terminal are lovely and helpful albeit the terminal is very basic. Everything runs smoothly and I have always found the staff onboard courteous and friendly. Would recommend.
