Venice to Patras with Anek Lines
Very relaxing, pleasant staff and good choice of eating and drinking. Probably a bit old fashioned but that created a great ambiance. The trip down the Venice Canal was fantastic, never to be forgotten and from the open and uncluttered top deck I was able to get some fabulous photos of the ancient city as it disappeared into the mist of the sunset.
Patras to Venice with Anek Lines
We spent two nights and a day on the ferry from Patras to Venice. Overall, it was okay. My main complaints were tht we bought seat tickets (without a cabin) and the room we had to sleep in was smelly and not too clean. Also there wasn't really room to lay out your sleeping bag--you had to lay it between rows of seats. Other than that the other seating areas on the ferry were clean enough and pretty nice.

Difficult trip due to the weather conditions ( november is not the right season !), but some crew helpt us very kindly .
