Plymouth to Roscoff with Brittany Ferries
We travelled overnight & we were on a budget break so booked 2 reclining seats. Most uncomfortable and very hard, had a terrible night. On our return journey we had recliners again but in the reserved lounge by the reception which were much more luxurious & so comfortable ,& a notice in saying no mobile phones, so... wonderful all in all & so much better quality. I did ask at Reception why we hadnt been allocated these seats coming across to France and was told it would have been full. When I complained about the grades of the recliners, I was informed there wasnt any difference, well there certainly was to us and would hate to think we were allocated the uncomfortable ones again! I was also advised to book a cabin! the obvious answer if we had been able to afford one we would have done so in the first place. Why are there 2 grades of recliners and also why are there not notices saying the seats must be paid for before being used, so many think they are available free.?

Portsmouth to Santander with Brittany Ferries
There was a delay both ways in our journey unfortunately due to two airlifts of ill passengers. The only thing I would say is, that whilst tannoy announcements were made, they were too muffled to hear correctly in our cabin. Therefore, we were no wiser after them that that there were problems.
