Rosslare to Cherbourg with Celtic Link Ferries
We my cousin and I - 2 sixty year old guys!) anticipated a rough crossing, given it was 17 hours and in the middle of February, but it was great - very smooth, comfortable and trouble free. We had a cabin which allowed us to sleep through the night. The cafe/lounge was pretty basic, and the coffee very expensive, but we had a pleasant crossing and a very good start to our long journey to Italy.

We had a wonderful time on the ferry. The staff and crew were friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable - nice hot shower, too. Everything was very clean and fresh. Celtic Link Ferries took good care of us from checking in to checking out of the terminals. The shuttle driver even gave us some good suggestions for our visit. Traveling this way was a nice relaxing way to begin our visit to Ireland.
