Ashford to Calais with Eurostar

Economy class has airline style food but its worse than worst airline food I have ever had. I got a tray with a few pieces pieces of chicken. The whole thing had the consistency of cardboard and the taste too. Worst of all it was all rather cold. Overall, however, I do like Eurostar and use it often. I do find it more relaxing than the ferry and I like the convenience of already being connected to the French rail network. Plus their is something romantic about train travel that you just don't get on the ferry. The only other complain I might have is that it is quite expensive unless you book well in advance and even then hunt down the cheaper fares.
