It was my first time for me to bring my dog to the UK. I felt that the checking in for pets in Calais could be better signposted as I had difficulty finding it. There were minor delays due to the weather but it was no problem.

We merry three planned a day trip to do some shopping in Canterbury - we arrived just a bit too late for our reservation, but the computer offered the next train and on our return, we arrived early so again the computer offered the next train which got us home just that bit earlier. We like the tunnel because of its speed, the fact that you can sit in the car and drink your own beverages and eat your own snacks without crowds or the cost, which helps to balance the cost of the ticket. And the shopping was entirely successful - but it was very cold!
