The ferry time was changed on us and we were never informed. We were lucky to arrive 4 hours before check in because we literally drove straight onto the ferry after a mad rush. The guy at the ticket counter was rude, but the staff on the boat were helpful. The boat is quite outdated and the male toilets smelt very bad. Food was pretty good.

Part of trip from Doha, Qatar to Spain via Saudi Arabia, UAE, ferry Sharjah - Bandar Abbas, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France and finally Spain. This ferry trip was far easier than the Sharjah - Bandar Abbas, Iran leg! Comments are given where we think the trip could have been better. 1. We chose reclining seats as cost of cabins for such a short time was not good value for money, the room with the reclining seats did not have a good smell and lack of an allocated seat number meant we would have been separated so we did not use the seats which, in any case, did not recline as fully as the brochure indicates. Instead we stretched out on the other available seating, which was probably more comfortable as it was possible to stretch out fully. 2. Time to dis-embark with the car was also longer than we thought it could and should have taken. Otherwise we found everything fine.

the ferry left 1 hour later then advertised, on the ramp onto the ferry, without warning, was told only driver to board with the car, my wife was hussled away with no personal bags, not told where i would be,I then had to wedge the car in, then phone my wife to met up, and on our return we had to wait for 50 cars to move before we could open our car door,we also asked for an upgrade to cabin, was offered 86 euro each on top of 112euros allready paid, for a 7 hour crossing, which took 12 hours in total. the toilets stank, all in all not a pleasant finish to are holiday
