Bar to Bari with Montenegro Lines
The ferry left about 30-45mins late, which we'd been led to expect from previous reviews. The ferry staff were welcoming and friendly. We had airplane seats booked and because of low numbers we'd plenty of space. A lot of teenagers on the journey so getting to sleep was an issue. Great coffee on board and this and fresh pastries very welcome in morning.Alternatives to full sit-down meal would have been welcome though. Toilets were clean enough, not great. All in all, good experience.
Bar to Bari with Montenegro Lines
We had looked at reviews for Montenegro Lines before embarking and found reactions were mixed. Many complained that the service departed or arrived several hours late. While the ferry did leave and arrive a bit late it was not catastrophic. The facilities were OK, the catering was affordable and the trip itself didn't break the bank. So apart from being about an hour late or so, it wasn't bad. My advice is make time allowances if you're getting a train or flight from Bari.
