Folegandros to Piraeus with Lane Sea Lines

We used this ferry company to and from the Athenian port of Piraeus to our holiday destination on the island of Folegandros. The crossing is a long one and it should take around seven hours. However, our journey took something approaching nine. We were told this was due to bad weather but my wife suspects they were going slowly to save on fuel. Altogether however I must admit the journey was largely pleasant and the ship had all the usual facilities you would expect and furthermore more was clean.
