Portsmouth to Le Havre with LD Lines

The easiest way to get to France - finish work, get on the 11pm boat and go to sleep in the cabin. Wake up in France and start the holiday! On the return we also had a cabin (very reasonably priced) and had a relaxing journey back.

Portsmouth to Le Havre with LD Lines

Whoever designed and built this ship (Norman Voyager) should go back to building rowing boats - most inconvenient in terms of loading/unloading and limited passenger facilities, albeit that the restaurant provided good service and the cabins (why only 4-berth available?) were spacious. The only saving grace is the cheapness compared to Brittany Ferries.

Le Havre to Portsmouth with LD Lines

Several announcements were made about the marauding and noisy school children running amok around the ship, but nothing seemed actually to be done to stop it.
