DFDS were very accommodating and transferred me to an early ferry at no extra cost as I was there early and there was space on the earlier ferry. Friendly, efficient staff. Well run clean ship. The only downside is the duty-free is not so extensive and the prices not so good. But buying wine and spirits in France can be just as cheap anyway. Booking through Aferry is the best method of booking and MUCH cheaper than booking direct as you pay only 50p for using a debit card to pay, as against £4.50 on the DFDS website. I would always using Aferry in the future - It is win, win all the way!

Due to the fair prices I travel with DFDS, the crew were professional and polite, which I rate very highly. Overall a very efficient service from start to finish. A special reclined seating area for drivers to snooze would be appreciated. I cannot warrant the cost of a cabin for the short crossing, but waking up with a cricked neck in the middle of a family area is not ideal.. Please keep up these standards! Thank you.
