Only a bit sad to arrive for 9am crossing 8th May, to be informed that the crossing was now 1015am. We had not been informed via e mail etc. Nor it appeared had others. Otherwise a very good service.
The whole DFDS experience was with out any issues and was enjoyable. The staff were helpful & pleasant. The services were as expected especially with travelling early morning 02:00hrs. A little longer than the Calais crossing but worth it.
I have lost count of the number of trips we have made by DFDS (Norfolk Line) but it must be up to 4 to 6 trips annually. Our initial reason to choose DFDS was price, but it is now convenience and comfort. Most times the ferry is not crowded with coach tour parties, and seats can always be found. For morning sailings the Self Service restaurant offers a very good Cooked breakfast EXCEPT for the AWFUL sausages, which are seasoned with some unwelcome flavour. (DFDS - PLEASE CHANGE THEM!). The afternoon/evening sailings have a good restaurant serving lunch or dinner - all very good and tv screens are located in convenient places to catch up on news. A final and Oh so important point is that the toilets are generally clean, Such a pleasant change after the autoroute stops
