Dover to Dunkerque with DFDS Seaways
A swift check in and load up onto the vessel. A good crossing, however, slightly marred by the expensive and poor quality food on board (fish and chips in my case).
Dunkerque to Dover with DFDS Seaways
Going to Dover from Dunkerque wasn't so good... it was an old boat and almost no view of the sea. from Dover to Dunkerque...a perfect sail....again in the beautiful typical boat of DFDS...

I cross the Channel several times each year and always use DFDS because it is efficient, comfortable and, in my opinion, far the best value for money amongst all the means of crossing which are available. The restaurants are very good, especially the upstairs restaurant, which gives you a good seat for the crossing as well as good food. However, the huge windows of the main restaurant provide an amazing view point to enjoy whilst you eat. My only reservation is that, at busy times, more seating is needed, so, at these times, I usually pay the small amount extra (I think it's £10) for 1st Class.
