Gills Bay to St Margarets Hope with Pentland Ferries
The crossing to St. Margaret's Hope was marked by very windy weather and rough seas, to the extent that the ferry had to adjust its normal route past one island. We were grateful it sailed, as many other ferries were cancelled that day. Nevertheless, the crossing was trouble free and efficient. The return journey was very different - calm sea and sun deck weather (albeit a bit chilly).
