Gills Bay to St Margarets Hope with Pentland Ferries
The crossing was fine and went very well and was smooth. However we thought that the price in comparison with for instance the ferry from Calias to Dover with P&O ferries (which we use regularly as we live in Belgium) was high. Arriving at St Margarets Hope on the return voyage the line of waiting cars was very long and we did wonder if we would be able to get on the ferry but we should not have worried as there was plenty of room. Some people however in the line of traffic were getting agitated.

We left about 35 - 40 minutes late, Circus equipment loaded, this could have been started earlier so we left on time

Outward journey very busy and loading slow so departure delayed. Actual journey fast and scenic. Return journey not so full, prompt and ontime. Good value.
