Anthony Hartley, With Friends - 18/12/2011

Liverpool to Dublin with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

the journey was delayed because of bad weather, which is understandable. The staff, accomadation and the catering were faultless and the tv lounges were excellent, thank you for your fantastic service.

Dublin to Liverpool with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

Good crossing, I travel with P & O a lot on this route, I prefer the day crossing as I can get a cabin to myself to do paper work. All the staff are very helpful, from the lads that get you loaded to the kitchen & waiting / clearing up staff, right across the board really. On the whole no complaints from me anyway ... Keep up the good work!

The best way to get to Dublin by car?

Exiled Dubliner, Couple - 12/12/2011

Liverpool to Dublin with P&O Irish Sea Ferries

Yes, we think so. This is not primarily a passenger service, so probably not right for everyone. The check-in and on-board facilities are basic (but adequate), driving skills are required to manoeuvre the car amongst lorries and there are metal staircases to negotiate. BUT - the food is good and plentiful, the cabins are clean and the shower water is hot, the boat sails even in a force 10 and the night crossing saves us a hotel (we live in the East of England). What more could we ask?
