A really good trip we have done this crossing a few times now a great customer experience, good catering, efficient crew with a happy working environment full marks to Red Funnel we even got to go on the bridge and meet the captain! Brilliant

Cowes to Southampton with Red Funnel
I've never tried to do the Isle of Wight from Southampton before, but it was a very pleasant experience and makes a nice change from other routes. Not sure I'd make it a regular route (it's not quite as convenient as going to Ryde), but it's very pleasant and I would definitely do it again sometimes if I was coming from the right direction
