Cagliari to Palermo with Tirrenia di Navigazione
That was a terrible trip! The worst of all the ferrys that we have ever taken! And quantity of our ferrys is high enough, we've seen whole the Europe from ferrys from northern Norway to Malta. It was late at the start and it was late at finish, allthough staff said that we'll be in Palermo at the time of timeplan. Another shocking thing: - Why does the staff wake clients at 9 am and ask to leave the cabin, when they surely know that the ship has yet 4 or 5 hours to go!!! So we've spent this 4 hours with all our baggage on the stairs next to the lift!!! That was wonderfull!!! (instead of sleeping well in the cabin and preparing without any hurries) And in the end - a supertheme - to open garage in last 3 minutes to leave the ferry with a crowd of people on board... Just genius!!! Finally, when i realised, that i have no chance to catch the elevator, i had to carry all my baggage from 9th deck to 3rd with my own hands... Thank you very much for this unforgettable trip... and... NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cagliari to Napoli with Tirrenia di Navigazione
It was a convenient way to get our camper van from Sardinia to Naples. Don't expect more than transportaton and you won't be disappointed. Checkin very disorganized. Reasonable lounge and accomidations. Cafeteria served adequate dinner. Packaged crossants and coffee in bar were all that was available for breakfast. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful in arranging getting my disabled husband to the camper. All announcments and signage in Italian only.
