Cadiz to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with Trasmediterranea

I had some personal belongings to collect from Gran canaria so needed my car. I went by this route that should have had lots of facilities; eg, gym, pool, a la carte resturant, cinima, kids club etc. but because it was off session they shut these down and out of bounds. The price, though, seriously did not support this lack of amenities. The reclining seats advertised weren't and over all I did not appreciate having to sleep on the floor.

Cadiz to Sta Cruz de Tenerife with Trasmediterranea

It was very disappointing to go on such a lovely ship and have no facilities available. The indoor heated pool had no water in it nor the jacuzzi. The sauna was not available and the gym was not open to the passengers although i saw the crew using it. The cinema was closed the whole trip and the only entertainment was a television in the bar. Drinks are way too dear in the bar though. The biggest problem was that there was absolutely no seating on the decks anywhere. We had our dog with us so we were on deck all day long but had nowhere to sit so it was very uncomfortable. We asked if any of the chairs or sunbeds could be put out on deck but the reply was that there wasn't enough staff to put them away again. I would have gladly put my chair back myself ! This made for a very long and boring journey. Its a shame that they do not provide cabins where you can pay more to be able to have your dog with you in the cabin and at least we would have had somewhere to sit. i would gladly pay more for a cabin that is provided for dog owners.

Mahon to Palma Mallorca with Trasmediterranea

The ferry was 90 minutes late leaving Mahon, and 150minutes late arriving at Palma. The sea was calm so no apparent reason for the delay. Instead of docking at 10.30pm we docked at 1am. There were no taxis at the terminal so we had to walk over a mile to our hotel with our luggage at 1am. There were no staff to tell us on which deck the exit was for foot passengers.
