Rough Ride and Not Enough Bathrooms
5.4

Anonymous, Group - 13/09/2012

Valencia to San Antonio with Trasmediterranea

This ride was extremely rough and we counted seven different pukes from the twelve people in my group. There were not enough bathrooms to handle everyone getting sick. I would not recommend this trip unless you are very use to riding the rough seas.

Move to Mallorca, Family with young children - 11/09/2012

Barcellona to Palma Mallorca with Trasmediterranea

There was an on board dance class for kids and my daughter loved it. The cabin was excellent and overall value for money. The only fault would be that you do not accept switch or credit cards. I would have spent more.

Valencia Ibiza Ferry
6.6

Roopesh Ranchod, With Friends - 06/09/2012

Valencia to San Antonio with Trasmediterranea

I had no idea the waters were so rough, no warning was given. Had motion sickness tablets on us from a cruise so wouldve given my wife one prior to the trip. There were several people vomitting and lying on the floor. The queues to board the ship was down the escalator and lots of people with luggage were all knocking against each other with the setup as it is a small place with no queueing system to ease the congestion. Many people didnt know that for 1 euro you could store your luggage so some bags with wheels kept rolling and knocking people as the storage room wasnt big enough or the bags were just piled by that door. There were limited if any english speaking people at the coffee shop (even though they were very friendly) and check in counters. With Ibiza being a popular international destination and most of the people on the ferry were Australian, South African, English etc, it would help if there were some English speaking people. Overall, I would still recommend the ferry as the port is near and its less expensive to travel in a group and if you can check in your luggage, it makes it more fun and relaxed if one is aware of the rough boat ride ahead and can act accordingly
