Ostend to Ramsgate with TransEuropa Ferries
The Transeuropa outfit is very well organised. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The ferry wasn't crowded so there were plenty of places to rest. We missed not having any duty-free to browse around, esp. as the trip is quite long. But all in all, the voyage was very pleasant. A good prelude and finale to a beautiful day in Brugge.

Everything went perfect, the booking in the crossing there and back spot on. Would use this port again for my next trip.
Ostend to Ramsgate with TransEuropa Ferries
A good way to cross the Channel if you want to avoid the hustle of Calais and the fast commercial ferries. There are no refreshment facilities at check in but there is on the boat. There is just one indoor area for sitting but it is comfortable with plenty of seating and there is a wide screen tv that plays movies throughout the crossing. We enjoyed the slow crossing but with the limited facilities on board, four and a half hours may not be practical for keeping young children occupied.
