    • Hull to Zeebrugge with P&O Ferries (North Sea)

The ferries on this route are really beginning to show their age. Our cabin on the return journey, Pride of York, was so poor, the bathroom door was almost impossible to either open or close, no soap in the dispenser, that it required a request for a change of cabin which was eventually provided but was hardly any better. These ships used to be a pleasure to travel on but are now reaching the end of their useful life and need to be replaced. The fares are very expensive compared to similar overnight crossings and the length of the crossing is frustratingly long as neither ship left on time and both arrived well after the advertised arrival times. P and O Ferries need to invest in this route as a matter of urgency as the benefits of a departure close to home are being far outweighed by the expense and poor quality of the experience.

    Mini Cruise
    • Hull to Zeebrugge with P&O Ferries (North Sea)

Excellent crossing for anyone living in the north of Britain wanting to reach the continent. We treat it as a mini cruise at either end of our holiday with the added bonus of a shorter drive on the homeward journey from Hull. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the staff are all very helpful and polite. We made this crossing a number of years ago when it was NorthSea Ferries and our only grumble this time was that Starbucks supplied the coffee!!

    Small cabin
    • Hull to Rotterdam Europoort with P&O Ferries (North Sea)

For the first time in three years of using this service, we did not receive an outer cabin. The inner cabins are very small, with minimal storage. As a touring motorcyclist we struggled to find even enough space for our equipment. Catering was good, entertainment was poor overall.

    Hull crossing to Zeebrugge
    • Hull to Zeebrugge with P&O Ferries (North Sea)

I last did this crossing 25 years ago so it was like going back in time. The facilities were good and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful. Prepaying for the dinner was a good idea and I would recommend doing this. I wish I had done the same for, breakfast. I think food and drinks are a bit expensive especially the tea! Overall I enjoyed it and much better than going to Dover as we are coming from Scotland
