Calm weather, dry for embarkation, fortunate as there was quite a queue in the open before boarding. Wholly uneventful.

Super fast way to travel and Jersey port staff great. Downside - there were 6 of us travelling together yet we got our per-booked seats apart and not together?? This happened to other passengers also. Large queue for COSTA and when we got coffee it was not Costa standard at all -would have gone back with it if queue not so large. However would use again.

The service is ok for me as I am not looking for 5 star. But the major gripe is the cost for a very short journey. There is no competition, that may have been a political problem. Jersey had 2 operators some years ago, but one company ceased to be able to continue their service. At present economic times are tough, so I guess we are lucky to have a service.

Jersey to st malo day trip.
    • Jersey to St Malo with Condor Ferries

An enjoyable short crossing there and back in comfortable surroundings. The five hours we had for our day trip to St Malo was long enough. The other good thing was it broke up our stay in Jersey which was for a week. Oh and take your passport contrary to what I was told by a member of staff at the inquiries desk the day before we traveled that we didn't need our passport just your booking slip. I didn't pay any attention and its just as well as we were asked to show our passports at the check in and our booking slips in Jersey, also when I arrived at St Malo and again on the way back so I don't know where he was coming from. Remember you need to go to check in for new boarding passes in St Malo for your return trip.
