Koge Ferry Port Overview

Koge is an old port and one of the best preserved medieval towns in Roskilde County, Denmark and situated south of Copenhagen on the east coast of the island of Zealand. Tourist attractions in Koge are the harbor monument, a high granite obelisk bearing the names of maritime heroes Niels Juel and Ivar Huitfeldt, the Gothic St Nicolas Church, dedicated to St. Nicolas, patron saint of seamen, Denmark's oldest house with a date on it (1527) and the Municipal museum. The museum has a number of local collections on display, like traditional clothing.
