People planning to take ferries to Guernsey for an autumn break will have the opportunity to visit some festivals.
Visit Guernsey highlighted a number of events that will take place later this year, such as the Autumn Walking Festival, which will run from September 4th to 12th.
Holidaymakers will be able to follow routes taking in several significant locations and landmarks, learning more about the history of the island with the help of an accredited guide.
Travellers can reach Guernsey with
Condor Ferries, which operates direct crossings to the island from Portsmouth, Poole and Weymouth.
Other highlights of the autumn events season include the fifth International Victor Hugo Music Festival, which will feature live concerts by a number of classical music groups between September 20th and 25th.
People with a passion for the outdoors can arrange to take a holiday between September 25th and October 3rd, when Guernsey will celebrate all things horticultural during Floral Festival Week.
There will be tours, garden openings, lectures, workshops and other activities on offer.
As well as serving the Channel Islands, Condor Ferries provides access to France with its
ferries from Portsmouth to St Malo and Cherbourg.
