Baleària's fast ferries are due to be replaced with slower vessels. The four new Balearia vessels will use less fuel than the previous fast craft ferries; however they will also take twice as long to complete the journey, from three hours to six hours. Although the journey time will double, the service onboard will be a huge improvement over Balearia's current fast craft vessels with modern cruise style service being offered across all four new vessels.
