Travellers planning to take the ferry to Belfast for a getaway this summer will be able to time their trip to coincide with a special event.
Belfast Taste and Music Fest 2010 will come to the city's Botanic Gardens from August 4th to 8th.
The festival is described by organisers as "Ireland's premier culinary and entertainment event".
People planning to attend have the option of taking
ferries from Liverpool to Belfast with
Norfolkline Irish Sea, while
Stena Line offers crossings on the Stranraer to Belfast ferry route.
Highlights of the Belfast Taste and Music Fest will include a 'boulevard' of chefs representing some of Northern Ireland's leading dining establishments.
There will also be cookery demonstrations, live music, a new 'boutique' bar and much more to enjoy.
Some 30,000 people are expected to attend the festival this year.
Travellers heading to Northern Ireland from mainland Britain also have the option of taking ferries from Fleetwood to Larne with Stena Line, while
P&O Irish Sea offers
ferries from Cairnryan to Larne.
