Belfast Waterfront Hall serves up half-term entertainment

Belfast Waterfront Hall serves up half-term entertainment
People planning to get away from it all on ferries from Liverpool to Belfast for the May half-term break will be able to enjoy a variety of events at Waterfront Hall.

Families will find plenty to interest younger visitors at the Urban Arts Akidemy season, which has been arranged to give children a chance to learn exciting new skills.

Classes on everything from DJing and music production to fashion and dancing will be held at Waterfront Hall on May 23rd and 24th.

The venue will also be involved in the Belfast Children's Festival, hosting a production of The Elves and the Shoemaker from May 25th to 27th.

Adult visitors will also find events to interest them at Waterfront Hall this month, including appearances by author and television producer David Simon and Hollywood great Tony Curtis as part of the Guardian Hay Festival.

People setting off from England can catch ferries from Liverpool to Belfast with Norfolkline, while those coming from Scotland can travel on Stena Lineferries from Stranraer to Belfast.
