Music fans planning ferry trips to Amsterdam this year may be tempted to time their holiday to coincide with a gig by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers.
John Mayall OBE is one of Britain's pioneering music artists, with a career that has lasted more than 50 years and a style that has influenced the likes of Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood and Jack Bruce.
He and his band will be performing at Amsterdam's Koninklijk Theater Carre on September 28th as part of a tour that will take them all over Holland and France before the end of October.
Ferry crossings to Amsterdam are available from Newcastle with DFDS Seaways.
Visitors to Holland will be able to see the group at a number of other locations this year, including Den Haag on September 25th, Groningen on September 27th and Eindhoven on October 3rd.
The French destinations on the tour include Caen (October 8th), Lille (October 9th) and Paris (October 15th), all of which are accessible by ferry or Eurostar services.
