Boatlovers in for a treat as the Sailing Tour de France leaves Dunkirk

Now is a perfect time for boat lovers and racing enthusiasts to head to Dunkirk for the start of the sailing Tour de France.

The Tour de France a la Voile is an annual yacht race around the coast of France and has taken place every July since 1978. The race consists of a mixture between regatta stages at various locations and coastal stages as the competitors race around the coast to France.

The race starts in Dunkirk on the 26th of June and will also call at Calais on 29 June, and Dieppe on the 2nd July.
