Travellers planning a ferry break in Wales later this year will have the opportunity to discover some of the unique experiences on offer in Pembrokeshire.
The regional tourist board has encouraged holidaymakers to "escape to Pembrokeshire this autumn" to explore the region's landscapes, towns and villages without encountering summer crowds.
People based in Ireland can reach the region with
Stena Line, which operates
ferries from Fishguard to Rosslare.
Irish Ferries also provides a link across the Irish Sea from south-west Wales, with regular
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare.
The local tourist board highlighted a range of activities and experiences on offer across Pembrokeshire, such as walking along some of its 186 miles of coastline and cycling along the quiet lanes and tracks that run through the county.
Many attractions remain open outside the summer months, such as Pembroke Castle and St David's Cathedral.
Families can head to Folly Farm Adventure Park, which is open every weekend during the autumn and winter.
Irish Ferries and Stena Line provide a wide range of Irish Sea travel options to choose from, with regular
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin in addition to the Pembrokeshire services.
