A ferry break in Amsterdam will offer some memorable nights out for dance music fans this year, with a high-profile festival set to return to the Dutch capital.
Amsterdam Dance Event will run from October 20th to 23rd, featuring conference meetings and talks during the day followed by club nights and gigs by top DJs in several different venues.
Travellers can reach the destination by taking
ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam with
DFDS Seaways.
Daily departures are available from the UK port at 17:00.
Music fans will be looking forward to DJ sets and concerts from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Kelis and Paul van Dyk.
Live events will take place at venues such as Escape, the Paradiso, Melkweg and the Passenger Terminal.
The conference section attracts industry professionals from around the world, providing an opportunity to discuss and develop the modern electronic music scene.
Stena Line provides
ferries from Harwich to Hook of Holland, while
P&O offers another option for travellers based in northern England with its
ferries from Hull to Rotterdam.
