Travellers will be taking ferries to Ireland next month to attend one of the country's largest and most prestigious cultural events.
The Galway Arts Festival will return to Ireland's west coast from July 12th to 25th.
Hundreds of artists, writers and musicians will be taking part this year, attracting more than 100,000 visitors to Galway.
People who would like to experience the festival can reach Ireland via the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route, which is served by
P&O Irish Sea and
Norfolkline, or by taking
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Stena Line or
Irish Ferries.
Highlights of the music programme for the 2010 Galway Arts Festival will include shows by the Human League, Badly Drawn Boy, the Irish Chamber Orchestra and the Divine Comedy.
The range of visual arts events set to take place this year includes a screening of the Spike Jonze film I'm Here and an exhibition celebrating the work of Irish artist Brian Bourke.
Dance and theatre fans will be able to see shows including Uncle Vanya, Freefall and The Quare Land at the festival.
Irish Ferries also provides access to Ireland via its Pembroke to Rosslare ferry route, while Stena Line operates
ferries from Fishguard to Rosslare.
