Brave Merchant new career with Iscomar Ferrys
ISCOMAR incorporates to its fleet the superferry Blanca del Mar, a recently built ship, to cover the Barcelona-Palma de Mallorca line.
Up from the first week of February 2006 ISCOMAR incorporates a new ship superferry to its actual fleet. The new ship - which has been named Blanca del Mar - (former BRAVE MERCHANT from Norse Irish Merchant Ferries) has capacity for 400 passengers, 230 beds, 150 passenger cars and 2.000 linear meters for cargo.
This superferry, with 24 knots of speed, covers the Barcelona-Palma line in a little more than 6 hours. The Blanca del Mar will have a daily trip from Barcelona, except on Saturdays, at 23:30pm. and from Palma, except on Sundays, at 12:30p.m. Already two years ago that ISCOMAR started its line between Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca with its ship Mercedes del Mar, which now will give service in the Valencia-Palma de Mallorca line.
With this new superferry ISCOMAR makes a step forward in the quality of its service, maintaining as usual the most competitive prices in the market.
BLANCA DEL MAR will be in direct competition to Baleria's PAU CASALS (her sister DAWN MERCHANT which was briefly renamed EUROPAX APPIA).
