Brittany Ferries marks milestone with Santander exhibition | | | | 25 July 2008 | Brittany Ferries will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its services to Spain this summer with an art exhibition in Santander.
The company owns an extensive collection of 1,300 works of art, around 40 of which will be displayed in the exhibition.
Organised in association with the port of Santander, the free exhibition, called L'Art est un Voyage (Art is a Journey), will be held at the Palacete del Embarcadero in the centre of Santander from August 22nd to September 14th.
Santander is located on the northern coast of Spain and is the capital of the Cantabrian region.
Brittany Ferries uses its luxury flagship Pont-Aven to sail to the Spanish port from Plymouth in 20 hours, which is reportedly faster than any other ferry operator.
On board the vessel, passengers can pass the time at facilities including a cinema, a pool, a casino and a number of lounge areas.
Brittany Ferries also sails from Poole and Portsmouth to the French ports of Cherbourg, Caen and St Malo. |
