Brittany Ferries has encouraged keen golfers to catch ferries to France later this year to take part in an event that will raise money for charity.
The Brittany Charity Golf Challenge is a one-day tournament that will be held across five courses in northern France on October 16th.
Some 300 golfers, from amateurs to professionals, are expected to take part in the event, raising money that will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Brittany Ferries will be offering special travel packages for the occasion which will include return ferry crossings and en suite cabin accommodation on the outward sailing.
The company operates a number of routes for travellers planning to head to France, including a Plymouth to Roscoff ferry service and a link between Portsmouth and St Malo.
Ferries from Plymouth to Santander are also available for holidaymakers planning breaks in Spain this year, a route that is operated by the
Brittany Ferries flagship Pont-Aven.
