People planning to visit Spain this autumn will have the opportunity to take mini-cruises with
Brittany Ferries on the operator's Plymouth to Santander ferry route.
The company said that the cruises, which are being reintroduced this autumn, provide the ideal way to "celebrate a special occasion, indulge in some Christmas shopping or simply get away from it all for a couple of days".
Passengers will spend two days and nights onboard
Brittany Ferries' ship Bretagne, where they will be able to enjoy French food and wine, browse through boutiques or enjoy some live entertainment in the bar.
The vessel was recently given a £6 million makeover, equipping it with state-of-the-art facilities including plasma screen televisions and wireless internet access.
Upon arrival in Santander, Bretagne docks for six hours, giving travellers the opportunity to explore the city's parks, plazas and boulevards, as well as its bustling town centre.
The mini-cruises will operate on the Plymouth to Santander ferry route on a weekly basis from November 8th to December 20th, with departures from the UK port at midday every Sunday.
People planning to visit Spain this autumn can also catch ferries to Bilbao from Portsmouth with P&O Ferries.
